Surgical placement of dental implants

Many times, the prognosis of a tooth is such that its extraction is the appropriate solution. The dental implant placement has become a common and successful dental procedure in order to replace missing teeth.

The placement of the implant is done under local anesthesia, followed by suture removal after 7-10 days. 2-3 months later, the implant is uncovered and the referring dentist carries on with the prosthetic restoration of the implant.

The proper evaluation of the patient and the draw up of the treatment plan in cooperation with the referring dentist are of the utmost significance for a long-term success of a dental implant restoration.
