Surgical removal of cysts

Sometimes in teeth with extensive caries a cyst grows at the tip of their root.

Many times, the conservative endodontic treatment (root canal treatment) pays off and the lesion regresses. In cases where the cyst remains despite conservative treatment, we need to perform surgical removal of the cyst.

In some cases of impacted teeth, follicular cysts may develop, where surgical removal of the impacted tooth and the cyst is indicated.
